1. Negotiate payment terms: Push suppliers to 30-day payment terms. Even 15 extra days of float is significant when you're managing tight cash.
2. Front-load revenue: Run flash sales or pre-orders to bring cash in before big expense weeks. It's better to discount 10% than to run out of cash.
3. Time your ad spend: Dial back ads in the 3-4 days before big cash outflows (rent, salaries, inventory payments). Scale up after cash comes in.
4. Build a ₹50K minimum buffer: Never let your ending balance drop below ₹50K. This is your safety net for unexpected expenses or delayed payments.
5. Track COD remittance: COD orders take 7-14 days to hit your account. Factor this into your weekly projection — it's money you've earned but can't spend yet.
